Flouro Bling launched in Gateshead with the help of InBiz

Flouro Bling, a business specialising in the design of unique fluorescent jewellery and decorative items is launched in Ryton, Gateshead. The business which aims to provide people with fun, innovative and unique items of jewellery was founded by Anthea Rowley, 34, following the advice and support of InBiz, a national self employment organisation.

Anthea’s decision to found the business stems from a love of jewellery and an interest in UV fluorescent materials. Each piece of jewellery is unique, as only one item is made from each design. The jewellery, which glows in the dark, is made with polymer clay which, unlike other UV products, does not depend on chemicals for its fluorescent properties ensuring that your jewellery will always glow in the dark.

Prior to setting up Flouro Bling, Anthea viewed her jewellery making as a hobby. InBiz helped her turn her hobby into a viable business by providing her with advice on all aspects of setting up a new business, from writing a business plan to finance and marketing.
